NEW HAMPSHIRE YANKEE SUBMITS FILING
TO SATISFY FINAL LOW POWER REQUIREMENT
SEABROOK, N.H., April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- New Hampshire Yankee, the management company for Seabrook Station, today announced that it has submitted a filing to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to satisfy the last outstanding financial requirement for the issuance of a low-power license.
New Hampshire Yankee President Edward A. Brown said, "We feel this filing today adequately addresses all of the concerns raised by the NRC Staff. With the successful acceptance of our proposal, we believe we could be in a position to begin low-power testing in May." ...
