Scott D. Scheid has been named President and Chief Operating Officer for Scheid Vineyards Inc. (Nasdaq: SVIN), according to a statement issued today by the Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Alfred G. Scheid.
Scott Scheid joined Scheid Vineyards in 1986, and has been serving as its Chief Operating Officer since 1997. He currently serves as a director of the California Association of Winegrape Growers and was a director of the Monterey County Vintners and Growers Association.
