BALDWIN ACQUIRES KANSA CORPORATION
STAMFORD, Conn., Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Baldwin Technology Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Baldwin Technology Company, Inc. (AMEX: BLD), announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the Kansa Corporation, Emporia, Kan., for cash in the amount of $4,500,000 and 120,000 shares of the parent corporation's Class A common stock. A letter of intent had been signed and announced in October 1988.
The Kansa Corporation manufactures and markets newspaper inserters, padding machines, quadracarts and labeler quarter folder systems for the newspaper and commercial printing markets. The corporation was ...
