NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Standard & Poor's
March 26, 2001-- Standard & Poor's today assigned its triple-'A' counterparty credit and insurer financial strength ratings to the main operating entities of the Germany-based ERGO insurance group: Victoria Lebensversicherung AG, Victoria Versicherung AG, Hamburg-Mannheimer Versicherungs AG, Hamburg Mannheimer Sachversicherungs AG, and DKV Deutsche Krankenversicherung AG. At the same time, Standard & Poor's assigned its double-'A'-plus counterparty credit rating to the group's holding company, ERGO Versicherungsgruppe AG. The outlook is stable.
