MORTGAGES CHEAPER:U.S. home mortgage rates continued declining this week, a sign that demand for housing could rebound in coming months if borrowing costs drop further, Freddie Mac said.

The rate on a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage decreased to 7.58 percent, on average, from 7.61 percent last week, according to the mortgage underwriter, formally known as the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp.
