NEW YORK, May 2 /PRNewswire/ -- "Brazil needs a policy regarding wealth distribution," said Brazilian presidential candidate Luis Inacio Lula da Silva here today.

Lula da Silva, known to most Brazilians as "Lula," is a founder of that nation's workers' Party (Partido dos Trabalhadores, or PT) and is currently a Brazilian Congressman. He has been active with Brazilian trade unions since the late 1960s.
