SEOUL, March 27 Asia Pulse - South Korea's Daewoo Electronics Co has announced the development of the first ever air conditioner that produces oxygen.
The new appliance, named Suphia O2, makes use of a membrane separation system to filter out dust and other substances so that an optimal level of clean oxygen is sent out with the cooled air.
Company officials claim that the oxygen generating feature permits the air conditioner to be run continuously without the need for separate ventilation, which also means lower electricity bills for the consumer.
