Temecula Valley Winegrowers elect new board.
Officers for the 2001 board of directors are: Joe Hart, Hart Winery, president; Ben Drake, Drake Enterprises, 1st v.p.; Roberto Ponte, Temecula Valley Vineyards, 2nd v.p.; Nicholas Palumbo, Palumbo Family Vineyards, secretary; Ray Falkner, Falkner Winery, treasurer and Peggy Evans, Callaway Winery & Vineyard, at large.
Margaret Duckhorn named Napa Valley Vintners president.
