Mar. 27--ENGLEWOOD, Fla.--Charlotte County Commissioner Tom D'Aprile wants to see the county become a model for economic development.
D'Aprile and other county commissioners are being asked today to form what's called "Team Charlotte," a 21-member advisory board for economic development that could help shape the economic future of the county.
"I have some questions -- who are these people?" said D'Aprile Monday. He said he wants to be assured the voices of small, "mom-and-pop" businesses will be represented.
