GEA (Grupo Empresarial Antioqueno) has gradually expanded its business abroad and grew exports throughout the world, at the same time it sough associations and joint ventures with major international players. For instance Casino has 30% in the supermarkets chain Almacenes Exito and is a majority partners in Cativen bringing the Exito-Cadenaldo supermarket chain to Venezuela.
