With as many personal touches as his mother-of-pearl pieces, Dean Harris's New York apartment is a small gem.
His Manhattan apartment is the size of a postage stamp. But gold guru Dean Harris calls it a sanctuary, and it's easy to see why--it's packed with objects that give it the same intimate, personal feel as his jewelry: an English linen press that once served as his childhood toy chest, his grandmother's steamer trunk, and a hutch made by his great-grandfather.
