A Lebanese civilian was injured late yesterday in another landmine explosion in South Lebanon. Nazem Missilmani, 31, stepped on the landmine while on a hunting trip near the Shaaytieh village, close to Tyre. The UN estimates Israel left behind some 130, 000 landmines and unexploded shells in the South. Ten Lebanese civilians have been killed and over 70 injured during landmine explosions since Israel vacated the area last May.
