The Bond Market Association yesterday announced that Terry L. Atkinson, managing director of UBS PaineWebber Inc.'s municipal securities group, will receive the association's Chairman's Achievement Award at TBMA's annual meeting next month.
The award, to be presented by TBMA chairman and Bear, Stearns & Co. executive vice president Warren Spector, is to recognize Atkinson's years of industry experience and his service to TBMA, especially his work on the issue of expanding municipal bond price transparency.
