TOKYO, Mar 30 Asia Pulse - Tokyo Electric Power Co (TSE:9501) has said that it will postpone the construction of 22 stations at 10 electric power plants currently in the planning stage for between one and five years.

By delaying the work, Tepco plans to hold annual average capital spending to 900 billion yen (US$7.27 billion) or less, over the three-year period from fiscal 2001.
