Seven U.S. medical research centers have come together to form the Centers for Peanut Allergy Awareness with the purpose of helping to increase knowledge of peanut allergy and how to handle its effects.

The medical research centers are conducting a peanut allergy study designed to determine the safety of an investigational drug and its potential to change peanut sensitivity in people with peanut allergy.
