VAN DEN BERGH FOODS COMPANY CREATED
NEW YORK, May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Van den Bergh Foods Company has been formed by the reorganization of four Unilever U.S. food businesses. The new company comprises:
-- The margarine, spread, pancake batter and syrup businesses of Lever Brothers Company and Shedd's Food Products;
-- The specialty oils, spices, sauce and gravy bases and confectionery and bakery products of Durkee Industrial Foods; and
-- The bakery mixes, fruit fillings and frozen dough businesses of Pennant Products.
