/ADVANCE/NEW YORK, May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Flamingo Gaze GC, the first (and only) USGA-approved golf club in Manhattan, has been estalished by Golf Magazine, with 1988 U.S. Open winner Curtis Strange as head professional -- even though the club does not have a golf course.
The golf club is completely legitimate, notes editor George Peper, of Golf Magazine, who says it's part of a "new commitment to public golf" by the USGA.
