FOOD EMPORIUM AND PERRIER BELT KIDS FOR SAFETY

NEW YORK, May 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that 16,000 children under the age of 5 were injured in shopping cart accidents last year. Of these, almost two-thirds (11,452) were serious head or facial injuries.

In an attempt to make shopping safer for its youngest customers and offset these alarming figures, Food Emporium and Perrier have teamed up to equip the shopping carts in Food Emporium stores with seat belts.
