PAPILLON will carry the hopes and cash of most Irish punters when he bids for a second Martell Grand National at Aintree on Saturday.

The 10-year-old is bidding to emulate legendary Red Rum, the last horse to achieve back to back victories in the big race. And Ted Walsh's charge now looks likely to start favourite in his quest for that elusive double.
