SEOUL, April 3 Asia Pulse - The Information and Communication Ministry said Tuesday the monthly intra-city basic call rate will rise from 1,000 won (US$0.75) to 1,200 won ($0.90) effective April 15, while the rate for a three-minute call will be cut 6 won per call, also effective from April 15.

The ministry will cut the rate for PC communications by 11 percent, it said.

The ministry said the cost of a three-minute call will drop to 39 won ($0.029) per call from 45 won. The basic rate for an intra-city phone call will be raised from 1,500 won ($1.13) to range between 2,500 won ($1.88) ...
