Kmart Grocery Wholesaler Plans a Distribution Center in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Apr. 5--FORT WAYNE, Ind.--Kmart's decision to go with a single grocery wholesaler is paying off for Fort Wayne.

Fleming will open a 500-employee distribution center in the former Mattel Power Wheels plant at 3405 Meyer Road in early July. The warehouse will handle Fleming's Kmart business in Indiana, Illinois and western Ohio.
