Writer/director Neil Jordan set the movie world on its ear with ''The Crying Game'' and took a bite out of the box office with ''Interview With A Vampire.''
With those successes behind him, Jordan has made the movie he has always wanted to make, ''Michael Collins,'' which opens Friday in Cincinnati.
It's the story of the controversial hero of the original Irish Independence movement, Michael Collins, who targeted the British with bloody guerrilla attacks until they cried uncle and and gave the Irish more control.
