The Port Authority of Cincinnati and Hamilton County dissolved itself Wednesday, making way for a new authority to form later this summer.
The new group, called the Port Authority for Brownfields Redevelopment in Cincinnati and Hamilton County, will attempt to redevelop vacant industrial sites throughout the I-75 corridor, said Cindy Schrader, director of business retention at the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber provides staff and office space for the Port Authority.
