DENVER -- Traces of explosives were found on Timothy McVeigh's clothing when he was arrested 80 minutes after the Oklahoma City bombing, an FBI explosives expert testified Monday.
Chemist Steven Burmeister said that McVeigh's pants and shirt contained traces of PETN, an explosive found in detonating cord.
Burmeister testified he also found PETN on a set of earplugs McVeigh was carrying when pulled over on a traffic stop about 80 miles from Oklahoma City.
