Pleasant Ridge residents say they'll take their fight against cellular telephone towers to Congress, after finding little relief from the city Friday.
The Pleasant Ridge Community Council has asked U.S. Rep. Steve Chabot to sponsor legislation in Congress that would require communications companies to share towers. Chabot said Friday that he was studying the issue.
The community council maintains that a 180-foot tower erected by AT&T over the Memorial Day weekend without community notification lowers property values in their neighborhood.
