Bartlett & Co. is merging its two bond mutual funds and its money market fund into two funds run by its parent, Legg Mason, Inc.
And, says Jim Miller, managing director at Bartlett, the Cincinnati-based money manager could pick up management of a new Legg Mason balanced mutual fund.
Bartlett and Legg Mason completed their merger in January, ending the independence of Bartlett, founded in 1898.
Shareholders in the Bartlett Fixed Income Fund and Short Term Bond Fund are now voting on merging into the Legg Mason U.S. Government Intermediate Portfolio. Meanwhile, shareholders in the Bartlett Cash Reserves Fund, a money ...
