BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Rebounding and defense make a winning combination.
Indiana University's basketball team had both Friday and beat Saint Louis, 70-54, Friday night in the Preseason NIT.
The Hoosiers (3-0) were led by freshmen A.J. Guyton's 14 points and Jason Collier's 13.
The Hoosiers will play Evansville in Wednesday's semifinals at Madison Square Garden in New York. Evansville defeated Iona, 44-41, Friday night.
Indiana used a 10-3 run to take a 43-33 lead in the second half and Saint Louis never threatened thereafter.
