DEAR BRUCE: Please don't think I'm stupid - but I feel as if I am. From 1993 through January of 1996, I received bills from AT&T and promptly paid them.
But I recently realized that all of my long-distance calls are through MCI. Why have I been billed all of these months by AT&T? Even more to the point, I can't imagine why I have been paying them.
I have a canceled check for each of the payments I made. Do I have any chance of being reimbursed? - A.P., Cincinnati
