The Ohio Department of Natural Resources will hold a public meeting Wednesday to find out what Clermont County residents think about building a lodge and maybe a golf course, marina and other amenities at East Fork Lake State Park.
We think it's a great idea.
That sentiment is hardly original to us. For years now, government and business leaders in the region have been trying to build support for a lodge. Not only would it serve as a place to hold seminars and conferences, it would also provide jobs and recreational opportunities in one of the fastest-growing counties in Ohio.
Convincing the state to do it, however, will take more than wishful ...
