A Forest Park feature and copy writer for newspapers and magazines throughout Greater Cincinnati recently won a first place award in the 1996 Cincinnati Editors Association Publications Competition for her feature article about a man diagnosed with leukemia.
Dorothy Goepel won the award for her article titled ''Winning the Toughest Race'' which appeared in an issue of the St. Elizabeth Medical Center Foundation newsletter, Foundation Footnotes.
Ms. Goepel's entry won in the feature writing - newsletter category, and she was presented the award during the association's banquet on June 27.
