KERN RIVER GAS PIPELINE PROJECT CLEARS FERC ENVIRONMENTAL HURDLE
HOUSTON, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Kern River Gas Transmission Company, a joint venture of units of Tenneco Inc. (NYSE: TGT) and The Williams Companies Inc. (NYSE: WMB), notified the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission today that it would accept the environmental mitigation measures set forth in the FERC's Jan. 13, 1989, order concerning its proposed 837-mile natural gas pipeline from southwestern Wyoming to Kern County, Calif.
