MIAMI -- Trace Armstrong thought about dancing in the rain, Lamar Thomas revisited his showboating days and Warren Moon felt like he was sinking in quicksand.
A mean Florida cloudburst opened up over Joe Robbie Stadium just prior to the start of the game, turning the sometimes baseball field into the perfect mud puddle for the Miami Dolphins to beat the Minnesota Vikings, 24-17, Monday night.
Today, both teams will trim their squads down to 60 players.
''It was just hard hanging onto the ball,'' said Moon, who had four fumbles in the preseason game. ''I've never felt mud like that, kind of creamy. Every time ...
