The Procter & Gamble Co. is test marketing a new hair spray that it says isn't stiff or sticky, allows hair to move freely yet brings it back to the desired shape.
Flexible Hold, being test marketed in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, offers the first new technology in hair spray since the 1960s, P&G says, and has the potential to boost sales in the declining $600 million a year product category.
The product is being sold under the Pantene brand in the U.S. and Canada, and under the Vidal Sassoon brand in two cities of the United Kingdom. Test market sales are going extremely well, P&G ...
