RED WINGS SUMMON MCKAY, IHNACAK AND MOKOSAK FROM ADIRONDACK
DETROIT, Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Right wing Randy McKay, left wing Miroslav Ihnacak and defenseman John Mokosak have been called up by the Detroit Red Wings from Adirondack of the American Hockey League, Coach Jacques Demers announced today.
McKay, Detroit's sixth pick in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft, has 26 goals and 25 assists in 49 games in his first season with Adirondack. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound McKay played collegiate hockey at Michigan Tech. from 1985 through 1988, tallying 34 goals and 57 assists. He never has played an NHL game.
