WALTER STERLING SURREY OBITUARY

WASHINGTON, Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Walter Sterling Surrey, a leading international lawyer whose practice included the structuring and negotiation of commercial transactions all over the world, died of heart failure January 30, 1989, at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. He was 73. For 35 years, Mr. Surrey headed the international law firm of Surrey & Morse in Washington, D.C., which merged with Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue in 1986.
