Audiences at the Bolshoi Ballet Ensemble's concert series at the Aronoff Center for the Arts this week will be treated to ballets that have long been staples of the renowned Russian company's repertoire.
Expect a complete ''Les Sylphides'' and excerpts from ''Giselle,'' ''Don Quixote'' and ''Swan Lake.''
''Les Sylphides'' is a series of dances set to Frederic Chopin's works by Michel Fokine.
''Giselle,'' the tragic tale of love between peasant and prince, is French, with choreography by Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot.
