Miami University basketball coach Herb Sendek, whose name surfaced for two major college openings last season, is apparently on the short list of candidates for the vacant North Carolina State job.
Newspapers in New York and North Carolina have reported that Sendek, 33, talked with North Carolina State Wolfpack officials during last weekend's Final Four.
Oklahoma coach Kelvin Sampson took his name out of the running for the position on Friday. Sampson said he did not actively seek the North Carolina State job, but was contacted by athletic director Todd Turner after Les Robinson resigned in March. Robinson ...
