At U.S. Rep. Jim Bunning's campaign office in Ft. Wright, graphs are taped on the wall to monitor the results of daily telephone polls gauging voters' preferences for Bunning or his opponent, Covington Mayor Denny Bowman.
Flush with campaign funds, Bunning pays a professional polling company to call 100 registered voters a night asking their opinions on candidates and issues.
''He studies the poll results under a microscope,'' said Dave York, the congressman's top aide.
