Momentum is building behind a proposed two-year community college to give Northern Kentucky University relief from the large numbers of students needing remedial studies.
The proposal, outlined at a board of regents meeting last month by Regent Philip Taliaferro, has been made in years past but gone nowhere. However, Taliaferro has lobbied behind the scenes and appears to have lined up more support:
