BANK OF NEW YORK WILL TRANSFER MUTUAL FUND SHAREHOLDER
RECORD-KEEPING UNIT TO AMERICAN TRANSTECH
NEW YORK, May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The Bank of New York Company, Inc. (NYSE: BK) today announced that it has reached an agreement to transfer its mutual fund shareholder record-keeping operations to American Transtech, a subsidiary of AT&T (NYSE: T).
The Bank of New York will continue both its fund pricing and custody operations for the mutual fund industry. Donald Colby, executive vice president in charge of mutual funds administration at the Bank of New York, said, "In our opinion, American Transtech now has the best program available ...
