Apr. 9--CHICAGO--START SPREADING THE NEWS OF N.Y. SHOW: New York, the final stop among this year's major auto shows, will be the venue for the unveiling of a small number of significant vehicles.
Most of the machines are production models being previewed before arriving in showrooms this fall, and a few are concepts that could well be earmarked for dealerships soon after that.
That's the purpose of an auto show, to let consumers decide what they want rather than having to settle for what automakers give them.
