Pushing south from Bequia under full sail, I was on the upper deck learning to tie the highwayman's quick release knot.
My teachers were two Russian seamen, Orlik and Viktor, and I was aboard the magnificent Royal Clipper on her first Caribbean cruise. It is a cruise ship with a difference as it sails whenever possible instead of using engines.
