Canadian Pacific has reached an agreement in principle to transfer management and operations of its Ogden Shops, Calgary, to Alstom, and has signed a contract with ABC-NACO for the supply of suspension systems. Ogden Shops is CP's largest facility for major repairs, overhauls, and scheduled maintenance on locomotives and freight cars. It includes complete service facilities for traction motors, wheels, main generators, air brakes, and painting, as well as materials and support areas.
