Around $10bn worth of damage was caused to economies by the 'ILove You' virus that swept through the global cyber community last year. And we can expect more of the same, only worse.
Researchers are reporting the appearance of new computer virus strains at a rate of about 200 a month. During a 10-month period last year, the number of known computer viruses more than doubled to 42,000.
