Bioanalytical Systems, Inc. (BAS) (Nasdaq:BASI) commented today that preliminary sales and earnings numbers for the second fiscal quarter ended March 31, 2001 are encouraging.
Sales are above the previous year and the prior quarter. As in the first fiscal quarter, BAS expects to exceed analyst expectations for the second quarter. Following first quarter trends, performance improved for both the contract services group and the instruments group.
