More Nonprofit Organizations Turn Toward Charity Golf for Fund Raising
CHARITY GOLF TOURNAments have become big business for several nonprofit organizations in Arkansas.
The Houston Nutt/Arkansas Athletes Outreach Golf Classic raised about $150,000 in July 2000. Arkansas Razorbacks men's basketball coach Nolan Richardson's charity golf tournament in May 2000 raised $91,000 for 26 charities. St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers golf tournament raised $30,000 at its golf charity tournament last year.
