Wow. No sooner do I say "Bush won the election" than one of these hotshot media groups jumps up and says "Bush won the election."
When I wrote a column last week deriding sore-loser supporters of Al Gore for refusing to admit that their guy came up short, I had no idea that the Miami Herald and USA Today would reveal on the very same day that an independent analysis of Florida ballots proved once again that George W. Bush, not Gore, was the winner of the Sunshine State's decisive electoral votes.
Seems that the newspapers joined forces to hire a big-time accounting firm to examine those 61,000-plus Florida "undervotes" that caused such turmoil in the ...
