AS we observe Holy Week, we note that Jesus humbled Himself by washing the feet of the Disciples during the Last Supper while His human nature agonized over His approaching physical pain from His death on the Cross. Few realize the tremendous importance of these events to the whole structure of the Christian faith.
The New Testament asserts that the death of Christ was not mere chance while the Old Testament testifies that One born of a Virgin would lay down His life and die on an old tree from where a cross would be fashioned.
