WASHINGTON -- The World Bank has appointed Maarten de Jong as Director, Institutional Integrity, a newly created Department in the Bank that combines the existing Anti-Corruption and Fraud Investigations Unit (ACFIU) and the Office of Business Ethics and Integrity (BEI). De Jong, a Dutch national, will leave his post as Managing Director of the European Institute for Law Enforcement Cooperation (EULEC).
