MANTEO -- Almeta Kellogg White, 86, died Wednesday March 12, 1997, in an Elizabeth City hospital.
Mrs. White, born in Sunbury, N.C., was a retired schoolteacher and homemaker. She was a member of Mount Olivet United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Outer Banks Chapter of Retired Teachers Association, a life member of the NCAE, and a member of the Outer Banks Chapter of Retired Teachers Association, a life member of the NCAE, and a member of the Roanoke Island Garden Club. Mrs. White was the daughter of the late Martin Kellogg Sr. and the late Mary Sue Smith Kellogg.
